Why is there a book when I can get all this stuff at the website for free?
I do hope that all of you will find and use LutheranAudioReview.com. So, what would you ever need this book for?
Have you ever tried picking up a website and handing it to someone? You see, this book isn’t just for you; it was written to help you share this content with others. This book is something you can give to a friend or to that really nice couple that just joined your church. It is something to give to Grandpa who isn’t all that great with this internet stuff…or remembering websites you tell him about. Even those in elder care can hand this book to a nurse who might help them find their favorite Christian internet radio show. I’m sure you get the point. If you know of someone you’d like to share these podcasts with, this book is a great way to do it. If you know of someone—maybe not exactly computer savvy—who would enjoy some of this content, this book is a good real-world resource for them.
In our ever-growing world of electronic media, we often forget how useful something as simple and tangible as a book can be in sharing things with those around us. When we go about sharing God’s Word and the saving grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, well, I think we ought to try to use every means necessary.
